Study orientation at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology

On the way to university, we offer pupils comprehensive support in career orientation and decision-making. During tours and demonstrations in the various laboratories of our department, we are very happy to provide insights into university education and research.

Rent-a-Prof - Exciting experiments provide insights into science and research

Professors from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology are on site directly at the school, giving lectures and demonstrating experiments from various fields. All topics are presented vividly and reflect the current focus of teaching and research.

However, the lecturers not only report on current research topics, but also on the basics of studying engineering. Students have the chance to ask questions about studying in general, the faculty's bachelor's degree programs and possible career paths.

Campus visit - Visit to the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology

Pupils are always welcome on the TU ilmenau campus. Laboratory tours, practical experiments, a campus tour as well as a visit to the refectory offer comprehensive opportunities to spend a project day on the campus of TU Ilmenau. Of course, a Rent-a-Prof lecture can also be part of the visit.
