Teaching in Europe and the world
The EU's Erasmus+ programme has evolved. The restriction to the EU has been lifted with the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility programme (or Erasmus+ worldwide for short). In addition to all EU countries, you can also choose stays in Iceland, Liechtenstein, Northern Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, Turkey as well as at selected partner universities worldwide.
There must be a so-called Inter-Institutional Agreement (IIA) between the TU Ilmenau and the host university. This agreement specifies the number of persons as well as the duration of the stay and the subject of study/teaching.
If there is no IIA between your desired institution and us or your desired subject is not specified in the contract, the agreement can usually be concluded or adapted very easily.
Duration of stays:
- at least 2 consecutive days of stay (working days) up to a maximum of 60 days (no vacation days, weekends, etc.)
- at least 8 teaching units (45 minutes each) per short stay or week - for longer stays the number will be increased accordingly
Who can participate?
- Lecturers who have a contractual relationship with the TU Ilmenau
- Lecturers without endowment
- lecturers
- research assistants
- Emeritus professors and retired lecturers
