Change of study program at TUIL

• You have successfully completed a study program and would like to be deroled from it and enroled on another study program.
  
  Alternatively, you would like to be deroled from a study program without a degree and enroled in another study program.
  
  Before and after the change of study program, you are only enroled in one study program.
  
  In contrast, in the case of double study during the transition from Bachelor to Master, you are provisionally enroled in two study programs.

  Please note the semester-related deadline for changing degree programs. After the deadline, a change is no longer possible.

• Prerequisites
  
  The completion of a change of study program within the university requires the existence of a valid admission letter for the target program.
  
  The transfer of an already existing admission for a study program with the academic degree Bachelor is usually possible without any problems, because the admission requirements for the Bachelor study programs are identical.
  
  Due to the course-related admission requirements for programs leading to the academic degree Master, a new application in the university's Campus Portal is required.

• Step 1 : Download and fill in form

  Form name: Application to transfer to a Bachelor degree programme

• Step 2 : Get form signed of
  
  Submit the completed and signed form to the Exam Office of your previous study program and to the Exam Office of your target study program for information and signature.
  
  International students additionally submit the completed form to the Emigration Office for acknowledgement and signature when changing study programs after the 3rd semester.

• Step 3 : Send mail
  
  To apply for a change of enrolment, please provide the Student Office with the completed and signed form by mail.

• Step 4 : Confirmation
  
  Once the change of study program is completed, the new degree program will appear in Student Services.
  
  Please log in to the Campus Portal with your Uni-Account in the role of student. After clicking on the Student Services tile, you will be offered the new study program with its exam regulations version under My degree programs.
