The following documents are required:

• Cover letter including motivation
• Letter of recommendation from the field of study
• "Diploma Supplement" or other document from the MEI about the study achievements (and the degree "Bakalavr")
• Curriculum vitae including other degrees, cultural and professional activities besides studies (publications if applicable)
• Language certificate "German", level B2 or higher

Deadline is 31.1. of the respective year.

The technical admission takes place on the basis of the application (see above) by decision of a joint commission of the National Research University "MEI" and the TU Ilmenau, consisting of the project leaders and the project coordinators.

The linguistic aptitude is determined by proof of a language certificate or by participation in a project-specific language course with examination according to the European Framework of Reference (B2). The determination is carried out by linguistic staff of the TU Ilmenau in cooperation with the DAAD Lektor for German Language at the National Research University "MEI".

Quality control is carried out within the framework of the accreditation instruments determined by the accreditation of the study programs as well as by the German Academic Exchange Service within the framework of the project funding conditions.
