Guideline server

The project “Software System for Surveillance of Quality of Therapy at the Example of Patients with Traumatic Brain Injury” contains design and implementation of methods and appropriate tools for modeling, formalizing, editing and executing clinical guideline knowledge. A graphical guideline editor has been developed, which enables health professionals to work on formal guidelines of various problem domains. For processing of the formalized knowledge, a simulator has been established, being able to track the (depending on the special situation of the patient) relevant part of a guideline and, if necessary, derive recommendations.
