Three papers from the Management/Organization Group at the 83rd Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management (AOM)

Prof. Bach invited to participate to a symposium on Design Rules

The 83rd Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management (AOM) will be held this year in Boston. With more than 10,000 participants, this meeting is the largest and most important conference in the field of management worldwide.

Based on their paper published in the Special Issue of the journal "Industrial and Corporate Change" on Design Rules, Prof. Bach and his co-authors Ron Sanchez and Peter Galvin were invited to participate to a symposium on "Design Rules".

"In symposium sessions, several speakers discuss a common topic or theme in a manner that brings new insights to the subject.  A panel symposium engages a group of panelists in an interactive discussion."

In addition to the symposium participation, two Ilmenau full-paper submissions were accepted as conference papers after double-blind review by three reviewers each:

  • Psychological Capital as a Predictor of Manager's Intrapreneurial Intentions, Organizational Behavior Division, Rrezon Lajci (TU Ilmenau), Gentrit Berisha (University of Pristina/Kosovo), Besnik Krasniqi (University of Pristina/Kosovo).
  • Plural governance as a safeguard: How historical choices determine transactional risks, Strategic Management Division, Norbert Bach (TU Ilmenau), Peter Galvin (Edith Cowan University, Perth/WA).

We congratulate the successful authors and look forward to the further development of their research contributions!
