On July 14, 2020, the last digital lecture in the BO Entrepreneurship course at the FG MKM took place with the participation of external guests. Last week, all five teams presented their business concepts in a pitch. Course leader Britta Gossel seized the opportunities offered by digital teaching and invited various guests from near and far to the digital course for the last course. The guests showed a wide variety of opportunities how entrepreneurial thinking and acting can accompany the professional decisions and paths of the students after completing the course.

Digital visitors from Erfurt and Alsace: Laura Haubold (Ad Operations & Project Management at IROIN, Erfurt) and Hanna Hohmuth and Lena Kranz (founding whispers) were there. As former course graduates, they gave the current group of participants insights into how the course has influenced future careers and commitment to entrepreneurial projects beyond the scope of the degree. Laura Haubold was specifically looking for a young, dynamic work environment for internships and the first steps into professional life. Hannah Hohmuth and Lena Kranz initially continued their project from the course and have now started a new entrepreneurial project.

Two digital visits from Berlin: Project manager Oda Henckel, Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft (SDW), presented the students with the challenge of entrepreneurship, a project of the SDW and the Heinz Nixdorf Foundation under the patronage of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. For over 15 years, the project has successfully awakened the entrepreneurial and entrepreneurial spirit of students as part of a one-year funding program.
