The textbook and handbook “Research Methods and Evaluation in the Social and Human Sciences” by Prof. Nicola Döring from the Media Psychology and Media Design Group at the TU Ilmenau has now been published in a 6th, completely revised, updated and expanded edition. Current topics such as questionable research practices and their avoidance through pre-registration as well as Open Science and computational methods have been included. The book explains social science research methods clearly, in detail and with many authentic study examples. There is a learning quiz for each chapter as well as practical exercises with solutions.
