In cooperation with the University of Erfurt, we develop interactive applications for our social virtual reality platform to enrich academic teacher training. Our aim is to create teaching simulations that are as authentic as possible, in which student teachers can interact with virtual pupils in the form of 3D bots in a protected virtual environment. We will practically test and further develop these applications as a situated learning component and evaluate them with the help of student teachers for training as prospective teachers.
