Immersive knowledge access, collaborative exploration and intelligent retrieval in a digital world copy

In MetaReal, 3D reconstructions of real existing cultural assets can be experienced by several people independent of time and place using virtual reality technologies. Through the use of Augmented Reality, visitors on site are also integrated into a shared experience with the virtual visitors. It thus enables an immersive and collective experience in the manner of a walk-in Wikipedia, in which the visitors themselves enrich and expand their knowledge through their interaction with the environment.
