Project information

The proposed investment at the Ilmenau site will enable high-quality qualitative and quantitative elucidation of molecular structures, which is of utmost importance for the production of functional materials. The 500 MHz nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectrometer will enable in situ analyses at the molecular level for catalysts, photoswitches, dyes, ionic liquids and electrolytes, among others.
