The paper of Mr. Jan Kircheis on the topic "Dynamic Security Assessment in Distribution Systems as a novel Control Center Application" was awarded with the study prize 2021 by the Ernst-Blickle-SEW Eurodrive Foundation.

As a result of his master thesis, Mr. Kircheis considered how to realize a dynamic network security assessment in the electrical power distribution system and proposes a novel method for distribution system operators to reliably identify situations endangering network security, evaluate them quantitatively and avert them via preventive as well as curative measures.
