Master aptitude test

• The Master aptitude test is a regular step in the application process for a Master degree program.
  
  Application for a degree program : Procedure
  
  It is carried out under the responsibility of the departments, mostly without the participation of the applicant, on the base of the documents uploaded electronically in the applicant portal and sent with the application for admission.
  
  Application documents
  
  The aim of the Master aptitude test is to determine the extent to which the applicant meets the special admission requirements of the Master degree program he wishes to pursue.

  In addition to the general admission requirements - a Bachelor degree and proficiency in the language of instruction English - each Master program has its own specific admission requirements.

• Result 1 : At least 70 points
  
  The formal check of meeting the special admission requirements based on the documents uploaded by the applicant results in at least 70 points.

  Aptitude test passed

• Result 2 : At least 50 points with positive prognosis
  
  The formal check of meeting the special admission requirements based on the documents uploaded by the applicant results in at least 50 points.
  
  Based on the documents on file or after an oral examination of the applicant, a positive prognosis can be made regarding the meeting of the special admission requirements during the course of studies, provided that the applicant performs additional study achievements parallel to his degree program.
  
  Additional study achievements amounting to a maximum of 30 credit points will be determined.

  Aptitude test passed

• Result 3 : At least 50 points without positive prognosis
  
  The formal check of meeting the special admission requirements based on the documents uploaded by the applicant results in at least 50 points.
  
  Based on the file situation or after oral examination of the applicant, no positive prognosis can be given for the study-related meeting of the special admission requirements.
  
  Evaluation
  
  Special admission requirements not met
  
  Aptitude test not passed

• Result 4 : Less than 50 points
  
  The formal check of the meeting of the special access requirements based on the documents uploaded by the applicant results in less than 50 points.
