Andrich, Aliya

Aliya Andrich graduated the Lomonosov Moscow State University (Russia) with a specialist degree in media and journalism. As a part of her exchange year (2013-2014), she participated in the international honours programme for advanced students in journalism and media studies at the Hogeschool Utrecht (the Netherlands) and the Danish School of Media and Journalism (Denmark). From 2016 to 2018 she pursued a master's degree in Media and Communication Science at the Technische Universität Ilmenau. Her master's thesis "Investigating Effects of Virtual Sun Movements and Mental Workload on Time Judgments In and After Virtual Reality" was devoted to the research on human factors and virtual reality.

During her studies, she worked as a research assistant with the Virtual Worlds and Digital Games research group with Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Broll. Aliya Andrich supports Jun.-Prof. Dr. Emese Domahidi with research on digital media use and its implications on individuals and society.
