Performance art often addresses questions of corporeality and sexuality. A recent article in the Zeitschrift für Sexualforschung by the Media Psychology and Media Design Group from TU Ilmenau presents 10 significant art performances on sexuality from the past 60 years. References are made to current public discourses on sexuality in the media. The contribution also discusses how art performances can be documented through text descriptions, photos, and videos.
