The "Encyclopedia of Sexual Psychology and Behavior" (Springer), edited by Todd K. Shackelford, is a peer-reviewed reference work on human sexual behavior that integrates both evolutionary and sociocultural perspectives.
The Media Psychology and Media Design Group at TU Ilmenau contributed three entries on the topics of (1) dyadic sexual communication skills, (2) sexual fantasies, and (3) revealing clothing. All these topics are also connected to media communication: for instance, people discuss sexual communication problems in online forums, depict sexual fantasies in pornographic material, and showcase and debate revealing clothing on social media platforms.
