Agethur is the State Association for Health Promotion in Thuringia (Landesvereinigung für Gesundheitsförderung Thüringen e.V.). It supports professionals and volunteers committed to health promotion in the Free State of Thuringia.
The Media Psychology and Media Design Group at TU Ilmenau has been collaborating with Agethur for several years. Prof. Dr. Nicola Döring is a member of Agethur’s advisory board and is actively involved in the "Thuringian Network for Sexual Health" coordinated by Agethur. She regularly participates in the semi-annual network meetings, contributing insights on the relevance of digital media for sexual and reproductive health communication and health promotion. At the upcoming network meeting in November 2025, she will present on the role of artificial intelligence in sexuality education.
