Sexual abuse of children is a serious and widespread social problem that occurs both offline and online. A current anthology is dedicated to child sexual abuse and images of abuse in digital media. The Group Media Psychology and Media Design at TU Ilmenau is represented with two chapters under the first authorship of Prof. Döring: One chapter deals with press coverage of online sexual abuse, the other with media and sexual education prevention of the issue.
