Media Psychology Group wins poster award of the Department of Economic Sciences and Media 2023

Contribution from the CO-HUMANICS project receives award

On 21 June, the Department of Economic Sciences and Media celebrated its Department Day. It’s dedicated to the scientific exchange of all department members. Melisa Conde and Veronika Mikhailova from the Media Psychology and Media Design Group participated in the event with a poster from the CO-HUMANICS (Co-presence of Humans and Interactive Companions for Seniors) project titled "Towards Augmented Reality-Based and Social Robot-Based Social Integration of Older Adults: A User Requirements Analysis".
The poster presents the results of an interview study with N=30 people over the age of 60 who evaluated innovative technologies such as augmented reality and telepresence robots in terms of their benefits for older people. Based on an anonymous vote, the CO-HUMANICS poster was awarded the "Best Poster Award".
