In the lively, highly interactive exchange, the AMW students addressed a variety of topics - from coordinating communications at the federal, state and local levels to dealing with misinformation and using digital technologies in crisis communications.
Minister Hoff not only explained the conditions and goals of government crisis communication, but also gave the students insights into the coordination and decision-making processes in a federal system, which are by no means always easy.
In the research seminar, the AMW students will analyze municipal risk and crisis communication in eight federal states, including Thuringia, in the winter semester 2022/23.
