The Power Systems Group consists of an agile, innovative and experienced team under the leadership of Prof. Westermann.
In research and teaching, it deals with the design, analysis and operation of electrical power systems. In this context, the department deals with future requirements for energy transmission and distribution, the integration of new basic technologies, optimal system operation and the modeling and analysis of the entire power system from the transmission system level to the system on the end consumer side.
