KERBESEN - Ceramic multilayer components for high temperature sensor technology and electronics

In this project, ceramic multilayer substrates with integrated functionalities for application fields of high-temperature sensors and electronics (100-250°C) are to be developed using low-temperature ceramic cofiring technology (LTCC). To this end, the materials science fundamentals of functional ceramic materials for inductive, capacitive and semiconducting sensor and electronic functionalities and their integration into ceramic multilayer systems by means of cofiring are being researched. Our working group is developing the technological fundamentals for the design, simulation and production of discrete multilayer components for high-temperature applications and their integration into complex LTCC multilayer modules.
