Presence study
Enrolment as a student in a degree program (degree studies) takes place for
in principle in the type of study presence and in the study form full-time.
This means that you will be on the university campus in person five days a week and attend activities in university rooms. In the process, individual activities may also be offered online via the Internet by the university's instructors.
Distance study
For the degree programs
- Media and Communication Science
- Communication and Signal Processing
In a temporary pilot project, the university will additionally offer enrolment in distance study and full-time study in the winter semester 2022.
This means that five days a week, you can be anywhere in the world in person and attend activities in virtual rooms on the Internet. All courses are accessible via the Internet.

New students for the winter semester 2022 in the following degree programs
- Media and Communication Science
- Communication and Signal Processing
must therefore decide on a type of study when they enrol.
Attention
If the distance study type is chosen at the beginning of the program, it is possible to change to the presence study type once during the program.
If the student chooses to study on campus (presence study) at the beginning of the program, it is not possible to change the type of study during the program.
