The interdisciplinary Rowena-Morse-Mentoring-Program (RMMP) of the Thuringian universities accompanies female doctoral candidates in the final phase of their doctorate and postdocs in planning their individual career paths. During the 12-month program, the mentees network in peer mentoring sessions, receive individual advice from experienced professors from Thuringia's universities in group mentoring sessions, and can continue their education together in workshops.
Professor Döring from the Group Media Psychology and Media Design at TU Ilmenau is once again supporting the program as a mentor in the fifth round in 2022/2023. In the past, the mentees expressed great interest in the group meetings with Prof. Döring on issues related to scientific publishing, national and international collaborations, and individual career planning, which were discussed in detail together. Applications for the sixth cohort 2023/2024 are open from May 2023.
