Instructions for submitting a doctoral application

Please submit your doctoral application digitally via the TU Ilmenau campus portal:

   https://campus.tu-ilmenau.de
 

The following documents must be uploaded as PDF files:

• Curriculum vitae

• Certificates and transcripts

• supervision agreement

• Identification document

The doctoral application must be submitted in consultation with the supervisor no later than two weeks before the next Department Council meeting. Please allow a little more lead time when submitting foreign certificates, as the certificates must first be re-evaluated.

Doctoral application | Habilitation application | Habilitation application

The doctoral application or the habilitation application must be submitted to the Dean's Office, including the relevant documents, in consultation with the supervisor at least two weeks before the next Department Council meeting.

Please contact the Dean 's Office at least two weeks before the intended submission of your doctoral or habilitation application regarding the fee notification and provide your home address.
