We cordially invite you to this year’s events, which are held under the theme “Democracy Needs Diversity, Diversity Needs Democracy.”
The events will take place either online or in person at universities in Thuringia. Current diversity issues will be highlighted, such as barriers to access to higher education and academia; support and counseling services will be presented; and opportunities for discussion will be provided on how Thuringian universities can be designed as shared spaces for learning, research, and work for everyone.
We would especially like to invite you to the opening and closing events:
Opening Lecture: Monday, May 18, 2026 | 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. | Online “Democracy Needs Diversity, Diversity Needs Democracy”
Interactive Closing Lecture: Friday, June 12, 2026 | 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. | Online “Administration and Democracy: No Reason to Give Up”
