The Ilmenau Physics Summer is intended to present the importance of physics for modern life and thereby arouse the interest of pupils in studying physics, especially at the TU Ilmenau. For this purpose, the Institute of Physics of the TU Ilmenau offers a one-week summer college, in which scientific aspects of a superordinate topic are shown by lectures, deepened by practical courses as well as worked out by student groups under guidance in seminars. The program is rounded off by evening events.
