Florian Weidner

Since mid-2015, I've been a member of the Virtual Worlds and Digital Games Group at Ilmenau University of Technology. In general, my research is about HCI and human factors in XR technologies. My PhD was about the impact, possibilities, and limitations of XR on future in-vehicle user interfaces. I have completed my PhD in 2021. Now, I'm a postdoctoral researcher at the in the Virtual Worlds and Digital Games Group, focussing on haptic user interfaces for virtual and augmented reality.
