Detailed descriptions of the courses offered in our department can be found in the module tables. You will receive accompanying material for individual courses via Moodle after enrolment.

With the course "Microcontroller and Signal Processor Technology 1", the department participated in the sub-project "Collaborative work with Git as a digital examination concept" in the project "examING - Digitization of competence-oriented testing for engineering bachelor's degree courses".

Consulting offer

Students in the Master's degree programmes are offered a very wide range of opportunities to deepen their specialist knowledge. In particular, students who are interested in

  • power electronics,
  • drive technology,
  • regenerative energies,
  • mechatronic systems,
  • power converter-related control and regulation or
  • non-linear power electronic system behaviour

The individual offer is aimed at those who are interested in the selection of suitable courses. If you are interested, please contact the head of the department.

Student work and projects

The department offers the possibility to involve students in current professional topics and ongoing research projects, an overview can be found here. In consultation with the respective contact person, depending on the course of studies, these topics can be used to set a task for a

  • a final thesis (Bachelor, Master, Diploma),
  • a technical-scientific special seminar, an interdisciplinary seminar,an innovation thesis (Master EPCE, Master EPCSE),
  • a project/research seminar EET(Master EI),
  • a research project (Master EI, Diplom EI) or
  • other student work (also for activities as a student assistant or scientific assistant)

can be formulated. Please contact the respective contact person directly for this purpose.
