The target group of the course are master students of media technology and computer science, as well as master students of media business. The course will be offered from summer semester 2022 as a substitute course for Usability Engineering 2.
Enrollment in the Moodle course is mandatory for all participating students.

In addition to this page and the email contact points, we offer an introduction event for all Media Technology APC students. The details will be announced in the next months.
As a next step, you need to obtain your study agreement and enroll at the TU Ilmenau. To do so, please contact the APC office via apc@tu-ilmenau.de.
Afterward, please enroll yourself to the APC Moodle course for the summer term 2022 https://moodle2.tu-ilmenau.de/course/view.php?id=3925 to receive updates about the course programm in the winter term. The enrollment key for the summer term 2022 Moodle course is stated on the supplementary document of your study agreement.
Language conditions must be cleared before taking any other courses or enrolling to the APC Moodle course.
If the language conditions are cleared after the registration deadline of a course, it is not possible to join the course in this semester.
In the summer semester 2021/2022 you can participate in the courses Fundamentals of Media Technology for APC, Multimediale Werkzeuge, Scientific Working, and the Raspberry Pi Project.
Starting with the winter term 2021/2022 the courses Video Production Technology and Fundamentals of Media Technology will not longer be offered for APC participants. However, a new and dedicated for the APC is offered called Fundamentals of Media Technology for APC. Passing this course will be considered equivialient to passing both courses Video Production Technology and Fundamentals of Media Technology.
Access to the APC Moodle course is restricted to students in the Media Technology APC program. Therefore, the enrollment key is distributed along with the study agreements by the APC office. Double check if you are using the enrollment key for the current semester.
If you have language conditions, you must first clear those. Afterward, you will receive the enrollment key for the APC Moodle course from the APC office.
The courses Scientific Working and the Raspberry Pi Project will be held online and can be complete remotey. The other courses will probably start online, but this will be decided in the next months.
In any case, you must be enrolled at the TU Ilmenau to participate.

Scientific Working
The goal of the Scientific Working is to learn best practices for scientific writing and scientific presentations. Further, the course will provide insights into the services of the local university library.

Raspberry Pi Project
The goal of the Raspberry Pi Project is to learn how to plan, organize, and solve tasks in a small project group. Students solve predefined tasks that combine mechanics, electrical engineering, computer science, and media technology using a Raspberry Pi. There will be tutorials on GIT, Python, and Linux, to support the course participants and additional regular consultations.
