Stoll, Anke

Anke Stoll studied communication and media science at the University of Leipzig, Münster and Zurich. From 2018 to 2023, she worked as a research associate at the Institute of Social Sciences at the University of Düsseldorf under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Marc Ziegele, where she researches on the development of machine learning-based methods for the detection of incivility in online discussions. In the scope of her doctoral thesis, she further developed AI-based software for the moderation of participation processes. Since April 2023, Anke Stoll has been working at the Department of Computational Communication Science, where she investigates the use of AI for media platforms and social media, as well as on machine learning methods for communication science.
