Notes on starting a thesis

First you should pick up a topic of our topic-database. As next you should contact the supervisor via email for a first meeting to discuss about the topic.

As general next step, if you exactly know what topic you will work on, a short written exposé (of maximum 4 pages) is required. Please use our expose template that is part of our collected templates.

After the exposé has been completed and some improvements have been made, the subject can be registered in the examination office. To do this, you must make an appointment in the Secretariat of IMT (room H 3533, tel. 2757) to fill in the necessary forms.

A short presentation of the topic (maximum 15 minutes) will be done. Also after half of working time a short presentation is required.
