Academics

Engineering students from different degrees, including mechanical engineering, materials science, electrical engineering and industrial engineering, deal with various aspects of manufacturing technology in the course of their studies. In lectures ranging from the fundamentals of manufacturing technology to specialized lectures, for example additive manufacturing or coating technology, the essential knowledge of process and material behaviour in manufacturing as well as a methodical approach are taught. While working on theses or as assistants, students can pursue further questions within the scope of the department's research, thus creating a close link between research and teaching.
