Contact point IT Service Desk

The IT Service Desk is available to all users of the TU Ilmenau as a contact point for the services of the UniRZ. It is the first, central point of contact for requests, questions or problems that may arise with the use of services (first-level support). It is also the TU Ilmenau's telephone switchboard, responsible for borrowing equipment and allocating the PC pools.

Chip card Thoska+

In cooperation with the university administration, the UniRZ supports the services around the multifunctional chip card Thoska+. Among other things, the UniRZ is responsible for the production of the cards, issuance of the digital certificates, first level and partly second level support in case of problems with the chip card. The university administration is responsible, among other things, for issuing the cards, integrated use in the area of examination and module administration, billing for cashless transactions, and first- to third-level service and support.

Smartphone and notebook consultation

The UniRZ offers help with problems with smartphones and notebooks for students and employees, e.g. WLAN, VPN, virus scanner, Windows update and firewall.

The consultation hour takes place by appointment at the IT Service Desk in the UniRZ. If you are interested, please contact the Service Desk by phone (1111) or email (1111@tu-ilmenau.de).
