BiRa

As part of the BiRa project, the existing electronic measurement capabilities of the existing infrastructure of the VISTA simulation and test facility will be extended by a facility for bistatic radar cross sections measurements of mobile objects.

This creates a possibility to gain insights into the conception of future cooperative radar systems and to evaluate them experimentally on relevant objects of road traffic. This expands the scope of functions of the already unique VISTA facility, both in the direction of basic information technology research and in applications for sustainable and intelligent mobility and logistics.
