The computer technology in the Post Production Pool (RTK 5) is primarily used for editing audiovisual media. The pool's excellent hardware and software equipment enables efficient and powerful editing of image and sound content.

This includes:

  • Professional non-linear video editing

  • Media encoding

  • DVD/Bluray authoring

  • Compositing

The existing AVID video server solution ISIS 5000 connects the video editing workstations to a central storage media system and thus enables simultaneous (real-time) media access with dynamic storage allocation! This accelerates editing workflows and motivates collaboration!
