The Thuringian Coordination Office for Science and Technology (ThüKo NWT)is a working unit of the Thuringian Competence Network for Gender Equality and Under the motto "Young women study successfully in Thuringia", the ThüKo NWT works for everyone and with all universities and universities of applied sciences in Thuringia that offer science, engineering and technology courses.

The dedicated team is the point of contact when it comes to questions about study orientation in the STEM field. The various services offered by ThüKo NWT help schoolgirls to find their way through the jungle of numerous study options.

In the network "MINT-Studentinnen innovativ vernetzt", the ThüKo NWT supports female students of MINT subjects with various events.

The Thuringian Competence Network for Gender Equality (TKG) is a joint scientific institution of the Thuringian universities based at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena. It was established in November 2013 on the initiative of the State Conference of Equal Opportunities Officers at Thuringian Universities (LaKoG), the Thuringian State Rectors' Conference (TLRK) and the Thuringian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Science and Digital Society (TMWWDG).

The TKG sees itself as a higher education policy actor and service institution for Thuringian universities in order to initiate, further develop and consolidate gender equality measures as well as to inform, advise and network gender equality activists. The TKG works closely with all Thuringian universities to achieve these goals.

The State Conference of Equal Opportunities Officers at Thuringian Universities (LaKoG) is the association of equal opportunities officers at all Thuringian universities. It represents the interests in the field of gender equality vis-à-vis the Thuringian Ministry of Economics, Science and Digital Society.

The Federal Conference of Women's and Equal Opportunities Officers at Universities (bukof) is the gender policy voice in the discourse on science and higher education policy. The bukof brings together all those who shape the structure and culture of universities in Germany in a gender-equitable way.
