Equality Council

The term of office of the elected members of the Equal Opportunities Council is three years, but the term of office of the student members is only one year and they are also elected in the student committee elections.

The Equal Opportunities Council consists of 13 members from the faculties, the service and administration departments and the student body. The Central Equal Opportunities Officer is the chairperson of the committee.

The Equal Opportunities Council promotes and supports the following from the budget of the Equal Opportunities Officer

• Congress trips for female academics and students
• Further training for personal qualification
• the development of scientific networks of women (e.g. colloquium lectures, talks on the development of research collaborations)
