Media borrowed from Ilmenau University Library must be returned to the circulation desk in the main library.
Outside the opening hours you can use our book drop. This is located on the left at the entrance to the main library.
Important: Please always keep in mind your loan period. The media in the book return still have to be returned and this can only be done on the next opening day of the UB. If reminder fees have accrued overnight, you will have to pay them.
If the book return is full, a red light is illuminated. Then no more deposit can be made. The risk of not being able to return books on time due to a full box lies with the user. When inserting books into the book return box, please make sure that loose inserts are not dropped.
