Final degree thesis

Once the updated examination regulations (Prüfungs- und Studienordnung - Allgemeine Bestimmungen - für Studiengänge mit dem Studienabschluss
„Bachelor“ und „Master”) take effect on October 1, 2026, it will no longer be necessary to notify the University Library!

For degree programs leading to a “Diplom” degree, §24, section 9 of the “Examination and Study Regulations - General Provisions - for majors in the academic degree programs - “Bachelor“, “Master” and “Diploma“ a.a.b the third amending statute of 8. July 2021” will remain in effect until September 30, 2029.

Registration of a final diploma thesis

You will receive a confirmation email containing the form details, which you should print out and include with your paper when you submit it.

If, after passing your examination, you are interested in publishing your thesis, you can do so in collaboration with the University Library, provided that your advisors at the TU Ilmenau consent to the publication.
