Final presentation on communication about self-help in Thuringia

The closing event for the practice-oriented research seminar “Communication About Self-Help in Thuringia,” led by Christina Schumann and Sophia Schaller in cooperation with the Thuringian State Contact Office for Self-Help (LAKOST), took place recently.

Over the past few months, the students in the seminar have been investigating the best ways to communicate with young adults in order to make them aware of self-help services and motivate them to use such services. To this end, they conducted three focus group discussions with people aged 18 to 29. 

On Monday, the students presented their findings to Katrin Wieacker and Melanie Seznec-Schmidt from LAKOST.

A particular highlight of the presentation was the campaign proposals that the students had developed based on their findings, which generated great interest among the LAKOST representatives.
