A visit from Prof. Dr. habil. Franzisca Weder from the University of Economics and Business Vienna

Recently, the EMPK department was visited by a long-time friend: Prof. Dr. habil. Franzisca Weder from the University of Economics and Business Vienna. It has been almost ten years since her last visit to IfMK. This time, she returned to give a lecture and to be a guest speaker on “Ilmenau Sustainability Corner” a radio program on sustainability initiatives broadcast by HSF Campus Radio at TU Ilmenau which will be aired on November 24th and December 1st 2025.

Her visit also celebrated the publication of her latest edited book on Strategic Sustainability Communication. In this book, Dr. Mira Rochyadi-Reetz and Prof. Dr. Jens Wolling from EMPK contributed a chapter titled “Strategic Communication of and for Sustainability in Higher Education” which offers conceptual reflections based on a case study of the KLIMA-N project.
