Results on the impact of the exhibition “Power2Change – Mission Energiewende” now available in Frontiers

The results of the evaluation of the "Power2Change - Mission Energiewende" exhibition have recently been published in Frontiers: https://www.frontiersin.org/journals/communication/articles/10.3389/fcomm.2025.1657572/full.

Over the past three years, Sophia Schaller, Christina Schumann and Jens Wolling from the FG EMPK, together with two of our students (Emma Wiegel and Kira Schumann), have visited a total of seven locations of the traveling exhibition. They managed to survey 767 people before and after their visit to the exhibition on various aspects of public engagement with the energy transition. The study showed that the exhibition increased public engagement among visitors.

This finding suggests that exhibitions are a promising format for communicating complex and emotionally charged topics such as the energy transition.
