In February, a delegation from the ifMK of TU Ilmenau is visiting our partner universities in Indonesia. The trip of Mira Rochyadi-Reetz, Christina Schumann, Andreas Schwarz, and Jens Wolling is all about scientific exchange, international cooperation and personal encounters in the double-degree program, which is led by Christina Schumann from the TU Ilmenau.
At the Comicos conference of our long-standing partner university, Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta, the IfMK presented current research work on topics such as sustainability, the energy transition and AI in strategic communication and exchanged ideas with international colleagues.
A special highlight was the ceremonial handover of certificates to our Indonesian double-degree students who successfully completed their academic year at TU Ilmenau. Congratulations to Vanessa, Florencia, Gangga, Jo, Leon, Christine and Petrova on this important milestone! It was also great to see Pia, Pauline, Leonie and Beheshta, our German double degree students, who are currently spending their academic year in Indonesia and gaining valuable international experience.
In addition to the academic program, there was also time for cultural impressions - including a joint visit to the impressive Borobudur temple.
We are delighted about the lively partnership, the intensive exchange and many more joint projects in the future.
