The Kyrgyz Ambassador visits the TU Ilmenau

On November 29, 2022, Omurbek Tekebaev, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic, visited TU Ilmenau together with Embassy Councilor Ainura Tursumbaeva and Prof. Anipa Usupkozhoeva, Director of the German-Kyrgyz Technical Institute (DKTI) of the Kyrgyz State Technical University (KSTU) Bishkek. They were welcomed by Prof. Stefan Sinzinger, Vice President for Research and Young Scientists, and Prof. Hannes Töpfer, Dean of the Department EI, and guided through the high-voltage laboratory, among other things. During the subsequent discussions, Mr. Tekebaev was impressed by the technical equipment of the laboratories as well as the warm welcome at the TU Ilmenau.

The ambassador took a lot of time for his visit and welcomes an intensification of the cooperation between both universities.
