Prof. Dr. Hannes Töpfer speaks about the activities of the Advanced Electromagnetics Group at the Quantum Hub Thuringia.

The event on the topic of „Quantum Technologies“ took place on May 22, 2024.

 

As part of the lecture series “Current Challenges in Electrical Power Engineering,” organized by the VDE student group at TU Ilmenau, an event on the topic of “Quantum Technologies” took place on May 22, 2024.

In addition to the invited speaker – Dr. Konstantin Konson from IBM Deutschland Research & Development GmbH – Prof. Töpfer presented the activities at TU Ilmenau, in particular those of the Advanced Electromagnetics Group within the framework of the Quantum Hub Thuringia. A special focus was placed on superconducting peripheral circuits, as these are considered highly promising as control and readout modules for qubits.
