Health at the TU Ilmenau

The University Health Management (UGM) of TU Ilmenau supports employees and students in their performance.

We are convinced that health is an important prerequisite for successful work and study. The UGM therefore includes both individual preventive measures and the creation of health-promoting conditions. An ergonomically designed workplace, health courses and psychosocial counselling are just a small excerpt from the UGM programme.

The starting point for the UGM is surveys and health reports. From these, the needs of staff and students are systematically determined, goals derived, and measures for the target groups developed and evaluated, taking into account diversity aspects and equal opportunities. Effectiveness and sustainability are important to us, which is why we implement the UGM program with internal partners and Techniker Krankenkasse.
