Publikationshinweise / Acknowledgements

Please note that as a user, you are responsible for adhering to good scientific practice in accordance with the currently applicable guidelines of the DFG when handling research results and writing research articles.

If, in the context of a publication, you make use of data and/or results that were generated with the participation of the ZMN, this participation must be mentioned in the Acknowledgements and the persons responsible at the ZMN (or the DFG's Equipment Centre) must be informed. A mention is obligatory, regardless of whether the work was carried out in user or service mode.

In the case of publications of work that was carried out in whole or in part using the human, technical or technological resources of the ZMN, partners should be named as co-authors if they contributed significantly to the scientific results. In this case, discuss the co-authorship with the corresponding staff members and discuss your results. For co-authorship, please list the ZMN at the following address: "Zentrum für Mikro- und Nanotechnologien (ZMN), Gustav-Kirchhoff-Straße 7, 98693 Ilmenau, Germany."

If there is no direct involvement in the scientific results, the ZMN and the persons involved should be mentioned in the acknowledgement.

"We are grateful to Titel Vorname Nachname fromTU Ilmenau, Center of Micro- and Nanotechnologies (ZMN), a DFG-fundedcorefacility, who helped in the XXX (preparationofthesamples, analyticaloverview, ...)."

"The authors would like to thank Title Firstname Lastname fromthe Center of Micro- and Nanotechnology (ZMN), a DFG-funded core facility at TU Ilmenau, for their support with the experiments concerning XXX (sputtering, characterization analysis, preparation...)."

If no persons are to be addressed directly and the "Thanks is rather the provision of the equipment or the maintenance of the infrastructure in the ZMN, then the following variant can be used:

"Support by the Center of Micro- and Nanotechnologies (ZMN), a DFG-funded core facility of the TU Ilmenau, is gratefully acknowledged".

Please always remember:

Your acknowledgement matters!
