The project examING - Digitization of competence-oriented testing for engineering bachelor degree programsis funded in the course of the federal-state program "Strengthening University Teaching through Digitization" of the Foundation Innovation in University Teaching. The aim of the project is to develop and further develop innovative, competence-oriented, digitally supported examination formats to promote the digitization of teaching in the engineering bachelor's degree programs and to use the tested and suitable formats in other subject areas at our university.

THInKI - "Thuringian University Initiative for AI in Studies". is a joint project of the Technical University of Ilmenau and the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena. The four-year BMBF project (2021 - 2025) represents an important building block in the establishment and further development of Thuringia's AI competencies in higher education. The goal of the project is the creation or further development of teaching materials in the field of artificial intelligence for various disciplines. In addition to the creation and further development of teaching material, a certificate program will give students and graduates from all fields of study the opportunity to gain competencies in the field of artificial intelligence. ZIB supports the project team in requirements analysis, certificate creation as well as consulting and training of teaching staff.

The project "ProTELC - Pro Thueringian Engineering Life Cycle " ( 2021-2025)is a project of the member universities of the Alliance Thuringian Engineering Sciences.The project is funded by the "Zukunftsvertrag Studium und Lehre stärken" of the state of Thuringia. Objective of the project ProTELC is the cross-university strengthening of engineering sciences in the entire student life cycle.

In this context, the first "Bachelor Science Camp" will be held at the TU Ilmenau on the topic of "Digital Twins". More >>
