Ilmkubator - Start-up Service at the TU Ilmenau

The Ilmkubator is the Start-up Service of TU Ilmenau. In cooperation with our partners, we provide support in all phases of self-employment - regardless of whether there is only an idea, a concrete start-up project or the founding process is already in progress. In addition to classic start-up consulting, our service portfolio also includes intensive coaching, qualification and teaching offers, networking events, contact mediation and access to and advice on funding opportunities.

A highlight of our offer is the Ilmkubator Class, the intensive support program for particularly promising start-up ideas. Teams and individual founders can develop their concepts in six modules with the support of our Ilmkubator coaches, mentors and experts. All information about the program is available here. The Ilmkubator Class starts with the beginning of summer term each year.

All information on current start-up projects, events and insights into the work of the Ilmkubator can also be found on LinkedIn and Instagram.

Female Founders Lounge

The Start-up Service Ilmkubator creates space for female founders* and women interested in founding to meet and exchange ideas - at the Female Founders Lounge in the Humboldt Building of TU Ilmenau on Wednesday, March 8, starting at 6 p.m.!

We will also present exclusive tips and inspiration from Thuringian female founders and show exciting facts and figures about the female start-up scene in Germany. Our female employees will be available for consultations between 6:00 and 7:30 pm.

We are proud to be supported by the University Library, which will display selected literature for International Women's Day, and ThEx FRAUENSACHE.

We look forward to seeing you!

*We are addressing all individuals who identify as female with this offer. For the sake of simplicity, the term "women" is used here.

More events in the Thuringian start-up ecosystem can also be found in the ThEx calendar.
